This collection of pictograms is about the numerous mini-tragedies (less affectionately referred to as "first-world problems") we experience throughout in our daily lives, from tangled headphones to spilled coffee and broken zippers.
It is a montage of minor incidents that manage to engender intense feelings of exhaustion and distress within those experiencing them. The goal is to graphically represent the simplicity of these so-called tragedies, while simultaneously evoking their characteristic intensity.
In this manner, it is a study in both contrast and self-awareness. It serves a as a simple tool to appreciate the humorous humanity in our dramatic reactions, while also reminding ourselves how lucky we are to consider these the tragedies of our daily lives.
